It only takes a moment of distraction
Pools are part of everyday life.
So are interruptions.
Most accidents happen during ordinary moments — not because no one cares, but because attention briefly shifts.
SwimSafe is designed for exactly these moments.

Trust comes from being clear about what a safety product can — and cannot — do.
That’s why SwimSafe is deliberately designed with clear boundaries, so families, guests, and property owners always understand where responsibility sits.
SwimSafe is:
• Not a lifeguard
• Not a replacement for adult supervision
• Not a guarantee of safety
• Not a public-pool compliance system
• Not continuous underwater surveillance
These boundaries are intentional — and essential to trust.
Instead, SwimSafe focuses on spotting risky moments early and helping adults respond faster, adding a calm, preventative layer of protection around the pool.
Designed with clear boundaries
How SwimSafe works
Simple to place. Smart enough to adapt.
SwimSafe works quietly in the background — learning your pool, watching for risk, and only alerting when something looks wrong.

Place SwimSafe by the pool
Set the device beside your pool or mount it higher using a wall mount or stand. Setup takes under 5 minutes — no tools required for ground placement, basic tools for wall mounting. It's battery-powered (up to 2 weeks per charge), weather-resistant, Wi-Fi enabled and designed for typical home and holiday-let pools.

SwimSafe learns your pool
Using its cameras and sensors, SwimSafe understands the pool edge, access points, and surrounding space — learning your environment quickly and simply.

Alerts when something needs attention
When SwimSafe detects a risky situation, it sends instant push notifications to your phone via the SwimSafe app and triggers a local siren and light — helping nearby adults respond quickly, , whether they're poolside or elsewhere on the property.
Clear. Actionable. No constant monitoring required.
SwimSafe uses two cameras working together — each with a specific job.

Camera 1:
Context & Approach
Watches for people approaching or lingering near the pool — the moments before accidents typically begin.
Camera 2:
Water Surface & Confirmation
Provides a second perspective to confirm risk and reduce false alerts — with enhanced water-surface monitoring when mounted higher.
Working together, they help SwimSafe spot real risk earlier while staying quiet when everything is fine.
Height-aware safety that stays honest
SwimSafe automatically adapts its behaviour based on how it’s installed.

Guardian Mode (ground to ~60 cm)
Guardian Mode focuses on the moments when accidents are most likely to begin — before anyone is in the water.
Prevention-first poolside monitoring
Detects a child approaching or lingering near the pool
Identifies entry events and after-hours access
Sends instant alerts when risk appears
Ideal for pool-edge, coping, or low stand placement (0–60 cm)
Prevention before escalation.
Full Protection Mode (chest height, 120–150 cm)
Enhanced water-surface monitoring
Includes everything from Guardian Mode, plus:
Enhanced visibility of the water surface
Detection of unusual motion or prolonged stillness
Improved confirmation before alerts or sirens
Mounting SwimSafe higher allows the system to see more of the pool surface — unlocking deeper analysis while remaining event-driven and respectful.
Recommended mounting height: 120–150 cm (chest to head height)
SwimSafe doesn’t pretend one setup works for every pool — so its behaviour adapts to how it’s installed.
What SwimSafe looks out for
SwimSafe focuses on the everyday moments around a pool where risk quietly increases, especially when attention naturally shifts.

A child approaching the pool alone
Why it matters:
Many serious pool incidents begin before anyone enters the water.
How SwimSafe helps:
SwimSafe alerts when a child approaches the pool area unattended — giving adults an early warning before things escalate.
Prevention first. Calm awareness, not panic.

Lingering at the pool edge
Why it matters:
Standing or sitting at the edge often comes before slips, falls, or impulsive entry.
How SwimSafe helps:
SwimSafe looks for lingering behaviour near the pool edge and alerts you when it appears unsupervised or prolonged.
This is often the most valuable moment to intervene.

Entry when attention is elsewhere
Why it matters:
Cooking, chatting, unpacking, answering the door — supervision doesn’t disappear, but attention moves.
How SwimSafe helps:
If someone enters the pool while attention is elsewhere, SwimSafe sends an immediate alert — helping adults respond faster.
No assumptions. Just timely information.

Quiet or after-hours pool access
Why it matters:
Pools are often riskier when they’re assumed to be “out of use” — early mornings, evenings, or quiet periods.
How SwimSafe helps:
SwimSafe alerts to unexpected pool access during quieter moments, when no one is actively watching.
Especially useful in holiday lets and shared spaces.

Situations with unfamiliar routines
Why it matters:
Guests, visiting children, or new environments increase uncertainty and risk.
How SwimSafe helps:
SwimSafe provides an extra layer of awareness when routines aren’t familiar — without needing guests to learn anything new.

When the device is moved or disturbed
Why it matters:
Safety only works if the device is where it’s meant to be.
How SwimSafe helps:
If SwimSafe is moved, knocked, or tampered with after setup, it alerts immediately — so protection isn't quietly lost.
